Earlier this month I attended the Chelsea Amateur Radio Club (CARC) for a build night. The project for the evening was to build a few Tape Measure Yagi Antennas. The eventual goal with these Yagi antennas is to do Radio direction finding (RDF) at some point this summer. Here are a few pictures from the build night.
NOTE This has been update on January 29th, 2019.
This is going to be a multi-part series on my build of an DMX 512 controller based around the Mbed LPC1768 microcontroller with MBed OS 5. At it's heart lives the ARM Cortex M3 CPU. While it offers many I/O options, I plan on using a small set of the features to complete this goal.
Over the last year and a half I have been exploring how to manage my productivity. It started with mostly talking with the kind folks in Dave Seah's Discord server. By the start of this year, I have found what I believe works well for me. This post is to, hopefully, give folks some ideas that they can use to increase their own level of productivity.
The first tool that I started using more often is Google Calendar. I put all my one off events in here, such as meetup events or dates with my partner. I have set it up to send a notification to my phone and email one hour before the event starts. This gives me a chance to freshen up if needed or to finish whatever task I am working on and be able to leave the house in time to make it to the event on time.
Welcome to my blog! I am starting this as one of my goals for 2019 and I will be focusing on:
- Productivity - What I am doing and how I am doing it
- Embedded Systems - An area I am new and will be sharing my discoveries
- Programming - Programming projects I have worked on and working on now
As I am still learning a lot of things, constructive advice is always greatly appreciated!
